In 2016, Random Alchemy artist Lisa Dittrich participated in Science Versus Fiction, a thought-provoking exhibition at the Las Vegas City Hall Chamber Gallery.
Lisa’s mixed-media piece, “The Grey Areas,” explored humanity’s dependence on corporations, environmental pollution, and the consequences of excessive consumption. Combining canvas, spray foam, and miniature trees, the artwork presented a haunting vision of a future shaped by depleted natural resources.
Featured in an article published by the City of Las Vegas, Lisa’s contribution challenged viewers to consider humanity’s impact on the planet and the uncertain future we are creating.
